This is a 1974 Mercedes-Benz 280C. One of my two daily drivers for some 25 years. Usual maintenance and repairs. Top quality body work and repaint when needed, Reupholstered seats in vinyl. (Original leather got too tired.)
Owned by second owner for 34 years. 106,000 original miles. Extensive paint refreshment 2013.
Detachable hard top. Leather seats with rear jump seats. Runs beautifully with no oil burning.
Daily driver for past 12 years. Was rescued from repair shop's abandoned car lot in good shape. Subsequently needed tranny. Found 1984 driveway repair that owner had given up on. (Car was $500 compared with 3-4 times that for a replacement tranny.) Also traded out seats and some other parts. Seven years ago totally unique two-tone paint and professional restoration. Body original light grey color. Top dark blue to match interior.
